Psychoanalysis

Psychoanalysis is a form of psychotherapy developed by Austrian neurologist Sigmund Freud in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. It involves using various techniques, such as dream analysis, free association, and transference, to help an individual better understand their own human psychological processes. Psychoanalysis allows an individual to gain insight into why they think, feel, and act in certain ways, and assists them in making changes to their behaviour to better cope with life’s challenges. It is a highly effective therapeutic approach that has been used to treat a wide range of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, and trauma. Psychoanalysis has gained widespread acceptance in the psychological community, and is actively used by mental health professionals around the world.
