Prisoner s Dilemma

The Prisoner’s Dilemma is a strategic game theory concept used to analyze a situation involving two rational people. It is based on the idea that when faced with the same choice, both parties will choose to benefit themselves the most. This concept has been used to explain a wide range of behavioral motivations, from economic interactions to nuclear arms race. In game theory, the Prisoner's Dilemma provides a powerful tool to understand how two rational people can arrive at conflicting decisions in an effort to achieve the best outcome for themselves. In recent years, its scope has extended beyond the realm of game theory to describe a wide range of real-world phenomena, from business and economics to politics, psychology, and sociology.
