Mental Hygiene
Mental hygiene is the practice of promoting mental health, preventing mental illnesses, and improving overall well-being through a variety of lifestyle changes and therapies. It is an important component of healthcare because it helps individuals develop healthy coping mechanisms, learn more about their mental health, and build resilience in order to better deal with life’s challenges. Mental hygiene is used to help treat mental disorders, reduce the risk of developing mental illness, and improve the quality of life for individuals of all ages. Mental hygiene techniques include lifestyle modification, therapy, self-help techniques, medication management, stress reduction techniques, and other self-care strategies.
