Gratitude
Gratitude is the emotion of feeling thankful and appreciative for the positive things that have happened in life. It has been linked to several positive psychological and physical health benefits. For example, research suggests that an attitude of gratitude can increase overall happiness, enhance one’s quality of life, reduce stress, and promote better sleep. Additionally, gratitude can improve relationships by deepening feelings of social connectedness and empathy. By recognizing and expressing gratitude, individuals can not only benefit themselves, but can also improve the lives of those around them.

Behavioral therapy is an action-based therapy for positive behavior change. Other therapies tend to be more focused on delving into the past.
