Behavioral Disorders
Behavioral disorders are a group of mental health conditions that involve patterns of behavior that disrupt daily functioning. These disorders can involve disruptive behavior, mood swings, anxiety, or other types of difficulties that interfere with social interaction, school and work performance, or health. They often manifest in childhood and can continue into adulthood if not treated. Treatment usually involves psychological therapy and/or medication, depending on the severity of the disorder. Behavioral disorders are often associated with other mental health conditions, such as depression and anxiety. With the right treatment and support, many people are able to reduce their symptoms and lead full and productive lives.
