Autism

Autism is a complex neurodevelopmental disorder characterized by challenges with social interaction, communication, and behavior. It affects individuals on a spectrum with a range of symptoms ranging from mild to severe. Autism is typically identified in early childhood, and early diagnosis and interventions are important for positive outcomes. Depending on severity, interventions and therapies may include speech and language therapy, occupational therapy, and behavioral therapy. Autism can also have a significant impact on learning, communication, and the development of life skills. With proper support, individuals with autism can lead fulfilling and productive lives.
