Septic Polyarthritis

Septic polyarthritis is a medical condition in which multiple joints throughout the body become inflamed and infected with bacteria. It is a serious infection that can lead to joint damage, disability, or even death if not quickly diagnosed and treated. Symptoms of septic polyarthritis include fever, joint pain, swelling, redness, and stiffness. Treatment typically includes antibiotics to fight the infection and some form of joint immobilization or physical therapy to reduce inflammation and restore range of motion. Early diagnosis and treatment of septic polyarthritis is important for preventing long-term complications, ensuring optimal patient outcomes, and improving quality of life.
