Pain Relievers
Pain relievers are medications used to reduce or eliminate pain. They can be taken orally, applied topically, or injected to relieve discomfort. Pain relievers are important in providing relief from acute or chronic pain, reducing inflammation, and helping to manage certain conditions such as arthritis or headaches. Common over-the-counter pain relievers include ibuprofen, aspirin, and acetaminophen, while prescription pain relievers may include opioids, such as morphine, hydrocodone, and codeine. Pain relievers can be used for both short-term and long-term pain management, and are critical for managing severe pain and improving quality of life.
