Pagets

disease Paget's disease is a disorder of bone metabolism characterized by the abnormal formation of too much bone and changes in bone structure. It is a chronic disorder which can cause pain, deformity, and an increased risk of fractures. It can also affect other organs such as the brain, heart, and kidneys. Treatment can involve medications to control bone growth, and in some cases, surgery. As Paget's disease is an underlying condition, detection and diagnosis are very important to prevent more serious illnesses. With proper care and treatment, symptoms of Paget's disease can be managed and progression can be slowed.
