Orthopedic Trauma
Orthopedic trauma is any injury to the musculoskeletal system, including bones, joints, muscles, tendons, and ligaments. This type of trauma is usually caused by high-impact forces, such as from falls, motor vehicle accidents, or sports-related events. Treatment for orthopedic trauma can include surgeries, physical therapy, and medications, depending on the severity of the injury. Prompt treatment of orthopedic trauma can not only reduce pain and discomfort, but also improve an individual's mobility, range of motion, and overall quality of life.
