Ewing’S Sarcoma

Ewing's sarcoma is a rare type of cancer that mostly affects children and young adults. It usually starts as a tumor in the bones or soft tissue around the bones and can quickly spread to other parts of the body. Treatment usually involves surgery, chemotherapy, and/or radiation therapy. If Ewing's sarcoma is diagnosed early and treated aggressively, a person can have a good chance of living without the disease. Early detection and prompt treatment are important for improving a person's prognosis. For this reason, regular medical check-ups are important for people with a family history of Ewing's sarcoma or those with other risk factors.
