Clinical Rheumatology
Clinical Rheumatology is a branch of medicine focused on the diagnosis and treatment of diseases of the joints, muscles, and bones. It is a specialty that combines internal medicine, immunology, and orthopedic surgery to diagnose and manage musculoskeletal diseases such as arthritis, fibromyalgia and lupus. Clinical Rheumatology is important for the care of patients with painful, debilitating and often chronic conditions. Clinical Rheumatologists use a variety of treatments ranging from medication to physical therapy, to help reduce pain and improve function.
