Chondrosarcoma
Chondrosarcoma is a type of cancer that develops in the bones or in the soft tissues around the bones. It is the second most common type of bone cancer after osteosarcoma. Chondrosarcoma is a slow-growing cancer that can affect people of any age, but is more common in adults and in men. It can spread to other parts of the body, such as the lungs. Treatment options include surgery, radiation therapy and chemotherapy. Early diagnosis and treatment are important for improving the prognosis of chondrosarcoma. Chondrosarcoma is a serious medical condition and patients should seek medical attention if they experience any symptoms.
