Adamantinoma
Adamantinoma is a rare, malignant bone tumor that typically develops in the tibia, or shin bone. As it is a slow-growing tumor, it often goes undiagnosed until it is advanced, making it difficult to treat. Adamantinoma is characterized by the presence of cells with adamantinomatous features, such as eosinophilic cells and the presence of trabecular bone. Treatment for adamantinoma includes surgical resection and radiation therapy. In some cases, chemotherapy can be used. Due to its rarity, it is important for medical professionals to be aware of adamantinoma and its symptoms so that it can be detected and treated as soon as possible.
