Antioxidant Signaling Pathways

Antioxidant signaling pathways are complex networks within cells that provide protection against oxidative stress, which can damage cells and lead to diseases such as cancer and diabetes. These pathways help to maintain cell integrity and stability in the face of environmental stressors and genetic alterations. They also play a role in many physiological processes, including immunity, inflammation, and metabolism. By understanding how different pathways interact and contribute to cell regulation, researchers are able to better target diseases and develop therapeutic approaches. Antioxidant signaling pathways are thus an important part of modern biomedical research.
