Progressive Diseases
Progressive Diseases are conditions that become worse and more severe over time. Examples of progressive diseases include Alzheimer's Disease, Parkinson's Disease, and many types of cancer. These diseases can cause a wide range of physical, cognitive, and emotional impairments, negatively impacting an individual's quality of life and ability to function. Treatment of progressive diseases typically involve a combination of medical management and supportive care. Research is ongoing to develop more effective therapies that can improve symptom control, slow disease progression, and possibly produce a cure.
