Medication

Compliance Medication Compliance is the degree to which a patient adheres to a prescribed medication schedule and uses medications correctly. Poor compliance can lead to long-term health problems and increased healthcare costs. This is why healthcare professionals actively work to ensure that patients are properly taking their medications. Effective strategies include patient education, improving communication between the patient and healthcare provider, and the use of electronic reminders and technology. By understanding the importance of medication compliance and employing the right strategies, healthcare providers can help improve their patients’ health outcomes.
