Alzheimer's Prevention Initiative

Alzheimer’s Prevention Initiative (API) is an innovative research program that focuses on methods to prevent and delay the onset of Alzheimer's Disease. The initiative seeks to identify risk factors that can be modified to reduce risk, such as diet and lifestyle changes, as well as developing early detection tests, therapies, and treatments to prevent and slow down the progression of the disease. API is an important effort in tackling one of the world's leading causes of death and disability, as well as providing hope to those at risk of developing Alzheimer’s.
