Balneology
Balneology is the study of the therapeutic use of water and its physical, chemical, and psychological properties, along with its applications in hydrotherapy, balneotherapy, and spa therapy. It plays an important role in promoting health and wellbeing, and is employed for the treatment of a variety of conditions and illnesses, including mental health, physical trauma, and chronic pain. Its primary aim is to make use of the healing properties of water to improve people’s overall health. By combining massage and physical exertion with the soothing properties of water, balneology seeks to relieve stress, reduce pain, and improve mobility, as well as promote a sense of balance and harmony in the body.
