Intoxication
Intoxication is a state of impaired mental and physical functioning resulting from the consumption of drugs, alcohol, or other toxic substances. Intoxication can cause mental confusion, altered emotions, impaired judgment, coordination problems, and other physical and cognitive effects. It can also increase the risk of dangerous behaviors, including alcohol-related injuries and death. In addition, intoxication can lead to social consequences such as impaired relationships, legal issues, and economic impacts. Recognition, proper management, and effective treatment of intoxication is essential for public health.
