Alcohol Health Risks
Alcohol is a widely used recreational drug, but it is also associated with some serious health risks. Consuming alcohol over the long-term can cause organ damage, including damage to the heart, liver, and pancreas. Additionally, alcohol can increase the risk of certain cancers, depression, and other mood disorders. Even short-term alcohol use can lead to motor vehicle accidents and other unintentional injuries. In order to reduce these health risks, it is important to drink alcohol in moderation and to monitor your drinking habits and behaviors.
