Proteus Vulgaris

Proteus Vulgaris are a type of rod-shaped bacteria that can be found in aquatic and soil environments. They are commonly used as model organisms for research in biochemistry, medicine and genetics. Proteus Vulgaris are also known for their ability to produce certain proteins and enzymes which are useful in industry, such as their protease enzymes which are used in detergents to remove proteins from fabrics. Additionally, Proteus Vulgaris are used to study the immune system's response to bacteria and the development of pathogenic bacterial strains.
