Encephalitis

Encephalitis is a medical condition characterized by inflammation of the brain. It is generally caused by a virus, and can cause a range of symptoms, from mild headache and fever to severe neurological problems such as confusion, seizures, and memory loss. Depending on the cause, encephalitis may be treatable, preventable, and even curable. Early diagnosis and treatment are essential, as the condition can result in long-term neurological damage or even death. Vaccines and antiviral medications can be used to treat and prevent the illness. With prompt diagnosis, encephalitis can be managed, and most people can recover from their symptoms and lead a normal life.
