Botulism
Botulism is an acute poisoning from a toxin produced by the bacterium Clostridium botulinum. It is the most serious and fatal form of food poisoning. Botulism can cause paralysis, breathing problems, and even death. In severe cases, it is treated with an antitoxin. It is also important to identify and remove any contaminated food or drink. Botulism is a serious and potentially deadly health risk, and it is important to take precautions and practice safe food handling in order to prevent it.
