Air Quality
Air quality refers to the presence of various airborne particles and gases in the atmosphere that can have a negative impact on the health of humans and other living organisms. Poor air quality can be caused by naturally occurring dust, smoke, and pollen, or by manmade emissions from cars and factories. Air quality is important because it affects the quality of life, the environment, and the economy. Good air quality is necessary to maintain human health and well-being, reduce air pollution-related ailments, and prevent long-term health problems. It can also reduce the negative effects of climate change, as well as increase efficiency in industry and agriculture. Measures to improve air quality include reducing the use of polluting fuels, controlling vehicle exhausts and industrial emissions, and improving urban landscapes.
