Poplars
Poplars are a genus of trees in the family Salicaceae (willow family). They are characterized by their tall and straight trunks, fast growth rate, and long, slender leaves. Poplars are one of the most widely distributed trees in the world and have been used for centuries for their wood and shade. Poplar wood is incredibly strong and durable, making it ideal for use as construction material, furniture, and more. The wood is also rot-resistant, making it a great material for outdoor structures like sheds. Additionally, poplar trees are often used for landscaping purposes due to their attractive foliage, fast growth rate, and tolerance of urban pollution. Poplars also produce a fragrant sap that can be used for medicinal purposes and as a natural insect repellent.
