Pollen

Pollen is a fine dust-like particle produced by the male parts of flowers. It is an important component of the plant reproduction cycle, as it contains the male gametes needed for fertilization. Pollen is also a valuable source of protein for many animals and has been used for centuries as a medicinal remedy for various ailments. It is especially used in alternative medicine - such as homeopathy, aromatherapy and herbalism - to treat allergies, asthma, respiratory issues and skin problems. Pollen is known to be a natural antioxidant and may help boost the immune system and reduce inflammation. Furthermore, it has been used in the food industry as a natural preservative and colorant.
