Plant Communities
Plant communities refer to the diverse and organized interactions between various vegetation species in a given environment. The unique and complementary relationship between plant species is essential in maintaining ecological balance and providing essential environmental services such as air quality improvement, water conservation, and biodiversity conservation. Plant communities are also important drivers of ecosystem functioning, the conservation of natural resources, and the provision of food and other resources for human use. Therefore, understanding and managing the dynamics of plant communities is vital for maintaining healthy and resilient ecosystems.
