Oxidative Stress
Oxidative stress is a condition in which the body produces an excessive amount of oxidative radicals (free radicals), leading to various health problems. Oxidative stress plays a major role in the development of several diseases, including cancer, heart disease, diabetes, obesity, and Alzheimer’s. Oxidative stress can also accelerate the aging process. The best way to combat oxidative stress is to follow a healthy lifestyle that includes a balanced diet, regular exercise, and stress management. Antioxidants can also be taken to neutralize free radicals, reduce inflammation, and protect against oxidative stress.
