Fertilizers
Fertilizers are substances applied to soil or plant to provide essential nutrients for plant growth. They help to improve the soil fertility and promote healthy root development and foliar health, which in turn enable plants to grow and produce abundant crops. Fertilizers are also often used to increase the nutritional content of crops and to encourage growth of beneficial soil organisms. Fertilizers can be applied as granules, liquid, or gaseous forms and are especially important for plants grown in low-fertility soils. They are often used in commercial farming and gardening to supplement natural nutrient sources.
