Elms
Elms are deciduous trees, native to temperate regions of Europe and Asia. They are some of the most common trees and adorn many parks, streets, and gardens around the world. Elms are valued for their ability to withstand cold, drought, and pollution. They also provide food and shelter for birds and other wildlife. As an ornamental species, they are widely used in landscaping designs and provide a pleasant shade canopy in summer. Additionally, the timber of elms is valued for its use in carpentry and furniture-making. Elms are an important component in ecosystems, providing food and shelter for many species.
