Crops Informatics
Crops informatics is a branch of agricultural informatics that deals with collection, analysis, integration and visualization of data related to crop production. Its main aim is to improve efficiency, accuracy and effectiveness of agricultural decision-making, enabling stakeholders to make well-informed decisions. Crops informatics has a wide range of applications, such as yield improvement and forecasting, early warning systems, drought mitigation, pest and disease monitoring, irrigation management, and climate change adaptation. By leveraging the power of technology, crops informatics is helping farmers identify optimal solutions for sustainable crop production, leading to improved crop yields and increased agricultural productivity.
