Cellulose
Cellulose is an important component of the cell walls of plants, algae, and some microorganisms. It is the most abundant natural biopolymer on Earth, and is used as a structural component in plant-based materials, such as paper, cardboard, textiles, and biofuels. Cellulose is a major raw material for the production of paper, cardboard and other products that require strong and durable materials. Its properties make it ideal for insulation, packaging, and other industrial applications. It is also used in the development of biodegradable plastics, which are becoming increasingly popular due to their ability to reduce environmental damage. The use of cellulose in the food industry is becoming more common, as it has many functional properties that make it an ideal ingredient for food products.
