Cannabinoids
Cannabinoids are a group of chemical compounds found in cannabis plants. The most widely known is delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), which is responsible for the psychoactive effects of cannabis. Other cannabinoids, such as cannabidiol (CBD), have medicinal benefits, including reducing inflammation and pain. CBD is now available in many forms, including oils, creams, capsules, and tinctures, as an alternative to traditional medication. Research is ongoing to determine the potential therapeutic uses of cannabinoids.
