Animal-Plant Interactions

Animal-plant interactions are interactions between animals and plants that are essential in the maintenance of ecosystems. This type of relationship involves the transfer of energy, nutrients and water between different species. Through these interactions, plants gain access to resources and animals gain access to food and shelter. Examples of animal-plant interactions include pollination, seed dispersal, grazing, herbivory and scavenging. These interactions are vital for the survival of both plants and animals, and are essential for the health and sustainability of the environment.
