SLE
EP CYCLE Sleep cycle is the process that our bodies go through during a night’s sleep. It is divided into two stages, non-rapid eye movement (NREM) and rapid eye movement (REM). NREM consists of four stages where we drift from light sleep to deep sleep, while REM is the stage in which we dream and our brain is most active. Our sleep cycle typically lasts around 90 minutes and is important for our physical, mental, and emotional well-being. Poor quality or lack of sleep can lead to health issues, such as fatigue and cognitive impairment, as well as an increased risk of developing certain illnesses. Regularly sleeping for a minimum of seven hours allows us to restore our energy levels and benefit from a healthy sleep cycle.
