Reimplantation
Reimplantation is a medical procedure in which a body part that has been amputated or removed is surgically reattached to its original site. This procedure can be used to restore lost mobility and sensation in some cases, as well as aiding physical and psychological rehabilitation. It can also be used to restore the form and function of a birth defect or to replace a part that has been damaged due to injury or illness. Reimplantation is a viable option for many patients and has the potential to vastly improve their quality of life.
