Lumbar Spinal Fusion

Lumbar Spinal Fusion is a surgical procedure that involves permanently joining two vertebrae in the lumbar (lower back) region of the spine. This procedure is used to treat conditions such as degenerative disc disease, scoliosis, and other spinal deformities, as well as to relieve persistent pain and nerve compression. By joining the vertebrae together, the patient's spine is stabilized and the pain and discomfort associated with the condition is reduced. Lumbar Spinal Fusion is a permanent solution and requires a long recovery time, but is effective in treating severe lower back pain.
