Ligaments

Ligaments are connective tissues that join bones together in order to form joints. They provide stability to the joints by enabling them to move in a certain range of motion while preventing them from moving too far. Ligaments also absorb the shock that occurs during physical activities. Without ligaments, the body would be unable to move its joints properly. This makes ligaments important for movement and balance in the body. They are also essential for maintaining the right posture. Ligaments can be torn or stretched if strained beyond its limit, which can lead to joint instability and pain. Therefore, taking proper care of your ligaments is essential for overall health.
