Hydrocortisone

Hydrocortisone is a steroid hormone commonly prescribed to treat a variety of inflammatory, allergic, and autoimmune conditions. It works by suppressing the immune system, decreasing inflammation, and reducing the activity of the body’s natural defense system. By reducing inflammation, hydrocortisone can reduce redness, swelling, itching, and discomfort associated with many medical conditions. It is also used to treat certain skin conditions such as eczema and psoriasis. Hydrocortisone is highly effective in controlling these conditions, and is a safe and widely prescribed treatment.
