Humerus

The humerus is a long bone in the arm or forelimb of humans. It connects the shoulder to the elbow and forms the upper extremity appendicular skeleton. It is one of the most important bones of the body as it supports the movement of the arm and hand. The humerus also has a number of important ligaments and tendons attached to it which allow for greater range of motion in the arm, allowing us to perform daily tasks and activities. It also helps to protect the delicate nerves and muscles in the arm, providing support, stability and structure. The humerus is an essential part of the human anatomy and is necessary for proper functioning of the arm and hand.
