Degenerative Diseases
Degenerative diseases are medical conditions in which the structure and/or function of the body's cells, tissues, and/or organs are affected in such a way as to cause a gradual decline in health over time. These diseases can affect a wide array of body systems and organs, ranging from the brain, muscles, and joints to the cardiovascular, gastrointestinal, and respiratory systems. The most common degenerative diseases are Alzheimer's Disease, Parkinson's Disease, and osteoarthritis. These diseases can severely impact the quality of life, as well as life expectancy, for those who suffer from them. Early diagnosis and treatment is essential in managing the symptoms of these conditions and minimizing the impact on the patient's life.
