Corticosteroid Therapy
Corticosteroid therapy is a widely used medical treatment for a variety of conditions and disorders. It uses synthetic hormones known as corticosteroids to reduce inflammation, control immune reactions, and decrease the body's response to certain medical conditions. Corticosteroids are widely used to treat conditions such as asthma and allergies, skin conditions, arthritis and other inflammatory diseases, Crohn's disease, and various other autoimmune disorders. Corticosteroids have also been used in cancer treatment, organ transplantation, and to reduce the symptoms of certain types of blood disorders. The effects of corticosteroid therapy can be beneficial in reducing symptoms, slowing disease progression, and improving quality of life.
