Carpal Tunnel Release

Carpal Tunnel Release is a surgical procedure that is used to alleviate pain and other symptoms associated with carpal tunnel syndrome. It involves releasing the pressure on the median nerve, which is a nerve located in the area between the bones of the wrist and runs through a small canal in the wrist known as the carpal tunnel. During the procedure, the patient’s hand is placed onto a special device that gently stretches the carpal tunnel in order to increase the pressure and give the surgeon access to the area in order to release the pressure on the median nerve. This procedure has been found to be incredibly effective in reducing the pain associated with carpal tunnel syndrome, increasing range of motion, and improving the patient’s quality of life. It is the most common and preferred treatment for carpal tunnel syndrome and has been proven to be safe and effective for those suffering from this condition.
