Ethnobotany

Ethnobotany is the study of how plants are used by people. It is a science that explores the relationships between plants, culture, and the environment. It is important because it helps us to understand how people interact with the natural world and how humans have adapted to their environments. Ethnobotany is used for research into the traditional uses of plants for medicinal, food, construction and other purposes. It is also used to study the impact of human activities on the diversity of plant species. With its unique knowledge of traditional uses of plants and local knowledge, ethnobotany can be utilized to develop sustainable solutions for conservation and the development of new products.
