Cell Biology
Cell biology is the scientific study of cells – the structural and physiological components of all living organisms. Cell biology explores how cells interact with each other, how they are organized and how they work. It is an important field of biology, as it helps us understand fundamental biological processes including metabolism, growth, regulation of gene expression and evolutionary adaptation. Cell biology has many practical applications, such as medical treatments, genetic engineering and biotechnology. Understanding cell biology can also help us understand the causes of diseases, develop new treatments and even help us diagnose and prevent illnesses.
