Buds
Buds are the embryonic state of a plant. They are typically found at the end of the shoots or branches of a plant and contain undeveloped leaves, flowers, or stems for the development of new plants. Buds serve an important role in the propagation and survival of a species as they are the mechanism for asexual reproduction. Additionally, buds are a crucial part of the overall growth and maintenance of plants, as they provide essential nutrition and protection from insects and extreme weather. Buds are also often used for breeding purposes, as they can be used to produce new and improved varieties of plants.
