Physical Sciences
Physical Sciences is the study of physical phenomena, such as matter and energy, and their interactions. It includes the traditional fields of Physics, Chemistry, Astronomy and Earth Sciences, as well as newer disciplines such as Environmental Science and Biophysics. Physical Sciences provides the foundation for understanding and developing technologies that enable modern society’s advanced industries and the ever-changing world. It is essential for understanding the impacts of human activities on the environment and for identifying, predicting, and mitigating the effects of climate change. The Physical Sciences also enables us to develop theories and models to gain insights into the functioning of the universe and its physical processes, in order to better understand the physical laws that govern our lives.
