Network Forensics
Network Forensics is a specialized process of recovering and investigating digital evidence from computer networks for security incidents and cybercrime. It is an important tool for determining the root cause of IT security issues, data breaches and cyber-attacks. Network Forensics allows security experts to trace the source of an attack, discover the malware used and document how the attack happened, thereby preventing future incidents from occurring. It can also be used to help organizations with regulatory compliance, as well as to improve overall network security by providing insights into user behavior, vulnerabilities and any malicious activity that has occurred.
