Malicious Codes
Malicious Codes are pieces of computer code that are inserted into networks and software programs to perform malicious acts such as stealing data, deleting data, or disrupting the operation of a computer system. These codes can be spread through email attachments, downloads, websites, or instant message attachments. Malicious codes can be used to carry out cyber-attacks, steal confidential information, damage a system’s integrity, and disrupt essential services. The use of malicious codes is a growing problem for business, government, and other organizations as these attacks can be difficult to detect. Proper security measures and regular security audits are necessary to reduce the risk of malicious code attacks.
